7:00-8:00 AM: Registration
8:15 AM: Race Warm up
8:30 AM: Competitive 5K Race Start
9:30 AM: 1 Mile Family Fun Run

Our goal is to have participants from each of the schools in Hernando County as well as community members. Each exhibitor will have an activity for children and many will be holding exhibitions in the courtyard throughout the day.

Theme and Purpose: Disability Awareness Walk and Roll is a 4 hour event and will provide participants with inclusive activities designed to promote disability awareness for families, schools, and communities. Funds raised will be used to sponsor summer camp opportunities for Hernando County School District students with disabilities served in our school system under an Individual Education Plan. School Participation Awards will also directly fund student incentives in school based Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports.

Information for sponsors/exhibitors who would like to reserve a display table:

• Non-profit organizations may display for no charge (with 501c3), for others the fee is $20
• Exhibit set-up will be on Saturday morning from 6:30-7:30 AM. A 6 foot table will be provided with 2 folding chairs.
• Exhibit area will be open from 8:00 AM – Noon for participants.
• Sponsors will receive special recognition during the opening session and throughout the morning by our Master of Ceremonies.
• Sponsors are invited to donate items, experiences and services to be used for Chances to Win throughout the event.
• The Disability Awareness Walk and Roll committee reserves the right to determine the location of all exhibits. Tables will be assigned on a first come first served basis. You are encouraged to respond to this announcement as soon as possible to reserve your table. Please be aware that exhibitors are prohibited from making day-of-race sales at their booths.
