Founded in 1988, the Hernando County Education Foundation (HCEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the direct-support organization for Hernando County Schools. HCEF connects our public schools with businesses, individuals, foundations, and community partners to create opportunities that help students and educators thrive.
HCEF works alongside educators, district leadership, and community partners to identify needs and provide resources and opportunities beyond what traditional education funding can provide.
As the needs of our schools evolve, so does HCEF. We are committed to meeting today's needs while creating tomorrow's opportunities through innovative partnerships, real-world learning experiences, and meaningful investments in students and educators.
