School: Hernando eSchool
Amount to raise: $285
What do you plan to do? What is the purpose of this project? Why do you think this is important?:
I am wanting to start a chapter of the National Honor Society for Hernando eSchool full time students. I have been a chapter adviser in the past and the annual fee to have a chapter is $385. I am looking for ways to get our online students involved in community projects and also to be recognized for their hard work with their academics. Our students can easily be overlooked because they are not in a traditional school setting and I truly believe that beginning a chapter of NHS would bring a sense of camaraderie and togetherness for our students.
What will these funds be used to purchase? (Please provide specifics along with dollar amounts):
The total sum of $385 would go towards the entire annual fee of running a chapter of National Honor Society.
